Animal Care & Control Facility Renovation and Expansion
PROJECT DETAILS
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Description: This $7,000,000 project consists of the renovation and expansion of the existing Animal Care & Control facilities in Casa Grande, including Buildings #1, #2, and #3. The scope of work focused on modernizing existing structures while expanding capacity to better support animal care operations and public services.
Building #1 includes a new 5,650 square foot addition, providing expanded functional space and improved operational efficiency. As part of the renovation, 300 custom kennel doors were designed and installed, enhancing durability, safety, and day-to-day operational efficiency within the animal housing areas.
Site improvements include the construction of additional parking areas, five steel shade structures, and extensive landscaping throughout the property. The project also features a dedicated dog walking path that encircles the site, supporting animal wellness and staff workflow. The project successfully integrates new construction with renovations to existing facilities, resulting in a cohesive, upgraded campus that meets current building standards and long-term operational needs.
