We are growing Commercial Construction Company looking to hire a Construction Estimator in the Phoenix Market.

This individual. A large percentage of our work consists of Design Build ground up construction, and Tenant Improvements.

Essential Responsibilities include but not limited too:

• Develop Budget Numbers
• Prepares construction budget by studying plans, identifying and projecting cost for each division
• Evaluate cost effectiveness (Value Engineer)
• Submit customized reports to clients
• Re-figure costs estimates when necessary
• Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying, qualifying and quantifying subcontractors bids.
• Prepare proposals and Exhibits

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Must have strong match and science skills
• Must be detail oriented.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of how to read and comprehend blueprints
• Knowledge of complex workings of plumbing, electrical, ventilation, heating and air conditioning systems as well as all trades
• Good interpersonal skills a MUST
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work effectively as a member of a team.
• Must have strong computer skills, especially knowledge of spreadsheets
• Ability to use file transfer programs to send large drawing files to contractors
• Knowledge of how to use project management software and construction scheduling software
